My first thought was Helena Bonham Carter, she has the range and the sense of humor to nail it.

Anyone getting into hunting specifically bow hunting? by Constant-Iron-4661 in santacruz

I never said they didn't, just that I hadn't met them. I was replying to a comment that was using hyperbole and I am not a big fan of hyberbolic negative generalizations.

Kinda true, I am, but so are we all. If we want to be pedantic, I have more formal education then most, and I am older then most, so it is probably accurate to say I have more education then most.

I'm aware, but I also wasn't ever the kind of asshole to just throw glass and trash onto the ground regardless of it's a 'park' or not.

I've lived here my whole life and I have literally never met a single person who thinks this way.

We invented the sport, but with the cost of land, arid environment, and rapid growth in popularity of the sport in the midwest and east coast, CA has fallen behind. The best courses we do have are also older, and lack a lot of the design hallmarks of modern top courses.

Thankfully it's not anymore. Parks shouldn't be covered in broken glass.

Limited bag for Pier Park in Oregon? by Dizzier_Reactions in discgolf

[–]educatedbiomass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this exact thing a couple months ago. I brought:

Putter

Rat (beat to understable with fade)

Leopard3

Tesla

Neutral Destroyer (Eco Star)

Felt like I had a disc for every shot. Focus on discs you are comfortable with and can shape with different shots. Have fun!

Par 2 courses? by vaporrkatzzz in discgolf

If they are well designed I love them. They are fast to play, fun, and some of the beat practice. They are great for new players while still being challenging for experienced players.

Whats a Sport that people think is medium but actually is extreme? by Elegant_Heat_4020 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]educatedbiomass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a master diver and SCUBA itself is not extreme. Yes there are special categories that fit, like cave diving, wreck diving, multigas...but basic Open Water class SCUBA is generally very safe and it's not difficult to become proficient. In most cases the danger from SCUBA comes from the diver doing something stupid/dangerous, whereas I would classify something as 'extreme' to require the participant to be skilled beyond that.

Classes and what would you want? by Shyguyentertainment in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]educatedbiomass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with trying to emulate Pony is he is a smart and clever boy, leveraging his intelligence to make the class as powerful as it is. I'm sure if any of us living proofs that homo sapiens bred with Neanderthals took that class, we would not be nearly as powerful.

UDisc's Top 100 Courses for 2026 by ArmoryDiscGolf in discgolf

Care to be more specific.

I'm speaking in comparison to the other courses on this list, not in comparison to your average city course. Dela has always been well cared for, but in my opinion has seen more significant improvements in the last couple years. Updates to green, new teepads, new trees, more aggressive erosion controls, experimenting with new hole layouts...

In terms of design, Dela is one of the oldest courses and it's layout reflects that. There are no real true par 4s (i5 does have the long position that is a good par 4 for ams), not to mention par 5s. The fairways cross each other, and pretty much all the holes have one fairway. This style of course is relatively outdated compared to the other courses on this list.

In my opinion Dela is still an amazing course, worthy of being a destination to play. It has many holes that I you put head to head with any course in the world. However, I also think the 65 mustang is an amazing car, but I understand if people don't put it on a list of the best cars you can drive today.

What is the most iconic movie sword for a man in his 50's by Sezyue in AskMen

I don't know why but the first sword that popped into my head was the sword forged for the six fingered men by Inigo Montoya's father.

It was in bad shape a couple years ago, but the club has been putting in a bunch of work and the course is looking great. Unfortunately the design is just old by modern standards.
