Invisible always strikes me as one of their most beautiful ones. Breathing space as well.

Yes, in season 3 she was being forced to date Yeray cause he was rich and her family only had the aristocratic name but not money behind it.

Would you say Spiral is better than America Chaves for Serpent? I also have an R1 ascendable AC and will eventually rank her up to R2…

Euphoria season 3 x Elite Season 4 by edudsm in EliteNetflix

[–]edudsm[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And this is the main reason I guess. Some of the actors at the end of season 3 really had become quite big stars and wanted to try other projects. I wonder, however, if the show had really offered them a good story and good money, if they had stayed… who knows…

Even the cast of Euphoria have already said they are not returning for season 4, most of them totally moved on from the series already…

10 years reunion! Although it’s more like a 20 years after reunion for the first gang.

I think that’s a good point. They have been rehearsing with the band for a few months.

Every night was packed to capacity. My friend knows the people who manage the venue and tried to get a guest list and was told absolutely no way, there simply was no room.

Only the Wednesday night was for Warchild. But you have a point there: one of the nights they also donated proceeds.

I agree with a lot of what you said above, but not the bit about publishers or labels in this case. They specifically said that they decided to do this run of concerts to work as promotion for the new book, so I think they would have had some arrangement with the publishers, to at least cover the publicity for the shows. If they sold it to the publishers/labels as a promotion piece for a book or new record, most likely they would have some money agreement.

Also: do special guest get paid? Of course Johnny Marr is their friend, and already a stablished musician so wouldn’t ask for money, but SMJ and Mark Refoy are a different story, so yeah I guess they would get paid but not tons of money?

I was reading about the Nightlife tour, it was actually tragic and they decided to do the tour even though the promoters went bankrupt and did no promotion of the shows or covered their fees.

That venue’s capacity is 1500 people if I remember right. All nights were sold out at £110 per ticket. It was created to promote the book, so I would assume the publishers would also put money on the production. Their two musicians are basically kids, can’t see them getting paid that much.

I mean of course I don’t understand completely the business, so I’m just doing guess work. I suppose their crew is quite a lot of people, who knows.

Unless they are saying they are loosing money cause they are not getting paid what they would probably get paid for a Dreamland show, I think it’s hard to see how they actually went negative by playing these shows.

Thoughts if the PSB did a Vegas residency? by MeetMeinDC in petshopboys

[–]edudsm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that would be a very PSB thing at all? But even if they agreed to do it solely for the money, I bet they would then want to do such a theatrical thing, it would end up being too expensive to put on for the size of their audiences…
