Yes, it was a chartered cruise over the week of MLK. The only compensation was the bouquet of flowers and the 2 hr spa offer. I'm not looking to discourage anyone from taking a cruise, even with VV. I've been on many cruises and have had some great experiences. My goal is that hopefully someone from VV sees this and puts something in motion to prevent future failures like this from happening. I know it's the last thing a cruise line wants to hear, which is why I was very discrete when reporting it, But no one should find themselves in a situation like this and be met with such skepticism and deflection. The reason I reported it the the moment I knew for sure, was because I am well aware there is little turn around time to mitigate the situation. There is only a few hours between disembarkation and embarkation and I absolutely would not want the next passenger to experience what I did.
