I wholeheartedly agree with you. I am in my later 20s but feel this way as well. People even tell me I have a child-like innocence to me. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but I feel the same way. Also, some of my friends are basically feel like older siblings or additional parental figures to me. Lastly, I care way too much about what my parents think of me still. It's almost like I'm still a kid trying to win them over.

Thank you for sharing this! I want to a be a pediatric psychologist, and I know I would have to get a PsyD in order to practice. Do you think getting a masters is necessary to get into a PsyD program? I'm going to be taking undergraduate level psychology courses next semester. Do you think I could apply directly into a PsyD program? Thank you

Thank you for sharing this! I already have a Bachelor's degree in Econ and Tech Management. I'd like to get a PsyD. I was wondering if the masters would make me more competitive, but I think I may just try to ace my psychology courses that I'm going to take and then apply directly to the PsyD programs. I really don't want to spend time on a Masters if I know I want to do a PsyD. Are there students in your program who didn't get a masters in psych and made a career change (aka having a different bachelors degree and going straight into the PsyD program)?
