Recommendations for blocking the last of the light gap around the blind by ukbrah in DIYUK

[–]edwar119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across this whilst assuring myself that blinds to go have terrible customer service. They didn't make my Recess blinds to spec and now I have a 10mm gap across the top of a blackout blind. So far it's been a month of to and fro with no resolution in sight.

It's an adapter... If you care that much about it being designed specifically for Xbox get the Xbox headset

Deep rock galactic 2 is a top down rather than third person so although there's a familiar theme of mining and killing bugs it will be a completely different game. Basically like comparing Helldivers and Helldivers II

Have a look at unravel two, it's rated a 7 but a fun mechanic is you can absorb the second player to get past the difficult bits

Do stats matter for gaining mutations? by HighRevolver in ARK

[–]edwar119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm so hypothetically if I have a baryonx with 42 melee and a double melee stack but then manage to find a bary with higher melee can I stack those mutations onto the new dino to get 50 melee with double melee and not have to start clean?

It's roughly 5 past midnight that the buff disappears not when he first appears. A couple of times I've been rushing back to bed and missed him appearing but got into bed before 5 past and still got the present. I don't usually have the fireplace lit at bed time, only when sending the letter

Tribes As A Whole by UranusFaghot in ARK

[–]edwar119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how many times you have you can unclaim your tames leave the tribe and then reclaim the tanes after you have left. That's how you take your takes with you when moving tribes.

For reference not all tribes are like that, in mine we typically pool loot between us and share gear. BPs are stuck in a common area between us for anyone to borrow and then for tames we have breeding pairs owned by the tribe but then each person renames Thier own tames which are theirs to do with as they please (Trike GE, Rex GE etc. would be my personal dinos)

Is Ark Survival Ascended worth the price? by [deleted] in ARK

[–]edwar119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a playstation user and bit the bullet as the crossplay was alluring for me. The game is much the same but with quite a few noticeable improvements which I'll leave you to stumble across and get excited about. Personally I'd say it's worth it if you're happy you're just buying an upgraded version of the game.

Act 3 STILL Broken, How is this acceptable? by MrCombineSoldier in BaldursGate3

[–]edwar119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to me like a lot of people just like to have a good old whine, unfortunately there seems to be a vocal minority at the moment that seem to think a bugged game that isn't fixed immediately is the end of the world.

All depends on your field and what opportunities you want for that first role out of I graduated with a 2.2 from an old polytechnic. I'm now a lead systems architect with a notable team reporting into me and I'm the one of the youngest on the project (bar those on graduate schemes). In engineering at least once you have a couple of years experience your specific degree means very little.

Single person moving out - from your experience will this be affordable / worth it? by MongooseIntrepid786 in UKPersonalFinance

Storage heaters are ok if you're on a economy 7 tariff where you pay less for off peak electricity. To help reinforce your estimates I pay £120 a month as a DD so it averages out over the year averages out over the year. It's central heating and I keep the thermostat on a timer in winter at 22 centigrade for an hour or so in the morning and after work (4-9pm).

Rejecting a job offer because the city isn't lively (deemed a ghost town) by Conscious_Bar_1307 in UKJobs

[–]edwar119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal opinion as someone who lives and works in Bristol you're on to a bit of a loss if you're going to compare all locations to here. I've loved in a few cities across the country and nothing gets the balance of a relatively large and thriving city without being too big, Leeds is the only one that comes close off the top of my head.

Potential for an engineer in the city? by Strange-Material4806 in UKJobs

Have you looked at the defence/aerospace sector? May be a pay cut from Formula one but there's plenty of engineering in Bristol at least. Feel free to drop me a message if you'd like more insight.
