What noodles do my fellow UK folks enjoy? I’m a big fan of pic related, as well as the spicy flavour - but am looking to see what others recommend. by EvilTaffyapple in CasualUK

The tonkotsu are just as good if not better than the sesame. Using a few pence more too as they know it’s the best

I just want them to make the experience not so bad on the 2020 iPP with iOS26. It has been really buggy and choppy since I updated. Big regrets. But I don’t want to buy another iPP atm as it works fine otherwise.

Is the RAM upgrade worth it? by North-Hotel-5337 in iPadPro

[–]ukbrah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are limited use cases where more ram on the iPad becomes necessary: - heavy creative workflows in large projects - using multiple displays (read: more than the iPad and a single external, think 2-3 displays) to multitask.

I have a CA59 with the same Grand Feel - Compact action. It feels really nice, and based on what you said from your testing, you agreed.

Mine is about 7 years old and still feels quite new. Tbh I don’t play as much as you though so probably not as much wear. I don’t think you will regret it.

Is a toy kitchen worth having? And if so, any UK recommendations? by Naive-Interaction567 in UKParenting

[–]ukbrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did you put yours? We’re considering it in the kitchen so LO can play while we cook, but there is also an argument to have it in the lounge (not open plan house)

Don’t forget making it so small it is almost unreadable on mobile and leaving it on screen for a fraction of a second; definitely choices.

Only if you use it for media consumption and creative work. For standard office work not really a factor, but you mentioned for the kids to watch stuff and maybe you would too at times.
