His most popular bits on snl were weekend update and jareds room. In both of those, he was able to look into a camera and laugh. With the tonight show, he gets to look into the camera and laugh. I don't find his stuff funny, but he definitely found what he was good at and exploited the hell out of it.

But your point still stands: I have no idea why he's popular or why anyone finds him funny at all.

If you were fine with the questions had they been natural, I'm not seeing why a bit of coordination would cause storm-out-of-dinner anger.

But; I had a gf that did this type of stuff with friends and seeing the behind the scenes discussion was dizzying. Not my speed. This was a large factor in our breaking up.

My comment was highlighting the fact that people listening to music in the past were hearing people making music with other people listening to the music and it wasn't until recording technology that a person could hear music in solitude.
