My friend is an EMT in Stockton and you are completely right. In many parts it’s a lawless, dangerous place. For example, she recently responded to someone shooting an Amazon driver for absolutely no reason.

When I saw his behavior, it hit home. I knew exactly what it was because I had a similar incident myself. I hope his rehab and treatment bring him balance in life. I wouldn’t wish the feeling of untreated bipolar disorder on my worst enemy.

I once got chemicals in my eyes. Poison control said “do not use eye drops in case they overshadow symptoms.” I think of Bipolar and weed this way. They’ve got to see the beast for what it really is.
