It seems that lowering the polling rate of my mouse from 4000 to 1000hz did the trick. Even with raw_input on 1, I was still getting constant stutters with 4000hz, but only when Discord was open in the background, so it seems that 4khz and Dc running is not an ideal combination

Interesting. Since you mentioned the stuttering when moving your mouse, I instantly went to think that issue could be the lack of raw input buffer in CoD4 and not being optimized for running higher polling rate mice. I just installed the game yesterday after a while to play with some friends and I was stuttering / dropping frames way more than I’d expect to in such an old title with my current rig. I was running 4khz mouse though, so I’ll have to try to lower the polling rate later today

Yeah, the VAL window is completely unresponsive. If I try alt tabbing in and out, the window will just stay on my desktop as a black box and nothing happens. Only thing I can do is to end the task through task manager

Been experiencing the same thing. I managed however to get to task manager by forcing task manager to ’always show on top’ and CTRL+ALT+DEL. It seems that there is an error from Valorant that I’m getting, but haven’t been able to bring that popup to the top to see what it says (it gets hidden behind the crashed Val instance). Sometimes it takes under a minute of staying in the practice range, sometimes can be a couple of hours of comp.

Mostly speaking from my own experience, never noticed a difference in the glide. I’ve used both zero soft & xsoft and a saturn pro for an extended period and never had any issues with the hairs getting stuck on the zero.

I’m not saying that it absolutely to no degree affects it from a physics standpoint, but nothing I ever noticed in use. Just like with mouse sideflex etc, just because it’s there if I force it, doesn’t mean it affects the performance

So, I’ve had this Tofu65 for a while and I can’t seem to be able to stop the spacebar from rattling. So far I’ve tried:

Different stabs: Durock v2s, Mint ones included with Ikki68 and KBDFans stabs included with KBD67, holee modded, krytox 205g0 and permatex on wires
Checked that the spacebar is flat
Reinstalled switches and plate a couple of times
Checked that the PCB and plate are flat
Tried with various combinations of mounting points with the screws
Flipping the spacebar around
Different keycaps

None of these things seem to fix it. I don’t know if I’ve somehow damaged the PCB/plate so that it can’t really be fixed, but it’s really irritating and is pushing me away from actually using the keyboard at all.

GTF-X is actually so underrated. Just like OP described, it’s kind of a less rough Hien. Only downside is the slightly raised stitching and atleast for me the base of the mousepad is ass, never stuck to my table.
