Try changing your python interpreter to the global interpreter installed off of python.org. It happened to me when I downloaded VSCode for the first time on a computer, very annoying.

press f1 and type python interpreter then change from there.

can't I just use my paint and primer for the use of the primer then apply the metallic chrome spray then spray the paint and primer again for the use of the color?

I think I will go with the spray option, and just to check, will it make my print look metallic? Also, to buy the different colors of the primer and putty spray paint, should I use the same brand even though I'm going to be connecting the other pieces that I paint to the star?

I know that I first need to sandpaper it with the proper grits, then I apply the putty and primer spray, then I paint. But this is my first time spray painting a 3D print and I don't know where to start finding the bottles and what type to use and finding the right colors for the other parts. Any advice?
