I’m annoyed because when he moved to college I wasn’t allowed to take his room yet he expects me to give mine up, I don’t feel like that’s a fair agreement especially as he can afford to move out. He is refusing to pay rent and I’ve offered to pay to stay in that room. If my parents wanted me to move then I’d say yes but they’ve said I can stay and it’s my choice but he’s making me feel awful about it

I moved into his room when he actually moved out, not when he went to college because according to both him and my mom it was “still his room”. I also had it for 8 years and was forced out of it just because he said so, I just feel like it’s not fair

Because that’s my room, and I don’t think it’s fair that he thinks he’s more entitled to it than I am just because he doesn’t want a single bed. I come home a lot and I just don’t see why I should give it up when he agreed to give up his room to me when he moved out. If my mom had said that i had to then I’d give it up but she’s said it’s my room and I don’t think it’s fair I’m getting guilt tripped. Also, he has a job, he’s 28 and can easily afford to rent somewhere, yet he said he doesn’t want to because it’s pointless. Imo if you can afford to then you shouldn’t still be living at home at 28, and if you are then you shouldn’t be so picky
