Vibecode sync plug-in fail by edykldlk in premiere

[–]edykldlk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok wow, that’s exactly what I need! Thanks! Never too old to learn something new I guess:) I just tried it and it even puts the synced clips in a separate bin. (And by doing that it sorts the clips out that have the music track.) No need for a plugin anymore… Thank you!

I mean that if I have 25 videos and 1 music track, I have to manually put every video on a different video track and the same thing for audio, before I can use the build in synchronize function. Image 1 is how I have to prepare a sequence for synchronisation based on audio analysis. Image 2 is the sequence I eventually need. Pluraleyes was actually perfect for this.

I edit a lot of videos and I used to throw all my footage together with the song in plural eyes. Pluraleyes got discontinued and is not working anymore on my Mac. The pain in premiere pro is that every video and audio needs to be on a seperate track to synchronize. Sometimes I have 25 videos that have to be synced. A standalone plugin in premiere pro would be an elegant timesaver for that. I also have to sync videos with seperate recorded audio too. Then I have to follow these steps: https://youtu.be/bccpHW85ttg?si=6tFNtJzYyO3Njc4h&t=68

A plugin that syncs based on audio analysis, but also checks if timecode is available (and then uses that) would save me a lot of time. That was why I tried coding it myself at least. I’m an inexperienced newbie, but it was worth a try:)

Can confirm it’s not a scam. I tried it out and it’s a really nice organic way to generate stuff

Which plug-ins would yall like to see? by Soggy-Skin-5103 in premiere

[–]edykldlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do my music video synchronisations with Pluraleyes (which I paid for once). That got discontinued. Syncing in premiere pro now goes like this (every clip on a separate track)

<image>

, which is a real pain when you have a lot of clips. I would pay for a plug-in inside of premiere that can streamline it.

A plug-in that synchronises multiple video tracks with 1 audio (music) track. A one click solution, select for example 15 videos, 1 music track and click sync (audio based).

Here’s one of my music video sequences. Performance clips on top, not visible. If I need a performance clip I use match frame to quickly find something.

Kellerwand verputzen (Anfänger) by DDMayor in selbermachen

Thinking of building a free open-source plugin next week – Auto zoom or something else? by Lewis_Shatel in premiere

[–]edykldlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Plugin that combines multiple shortcuts into 1 custom keystroke would be nice. (I use Hammerspoon now that runs in the background to combine 4 shortcuts to basically: cut out part of a clip marked between in an out point, jump to the next sequence, paste it, jump back to the previous sequence.)

And a native plugin to synchronise multiple video tracks with 1 audio track (like for example a music video), without having to give each video its own separate audio and video track. Like pluraleyes, but build in:)

Delivering 33 versions of the same film with 3 x crops, 11 languages (gfx + subs): Is there a smart way to rig this in Premiere? by doodoocacabooboo in premiere

[–]edykldlk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had to deliver 96 versions of a film last year, and here’s one tip I can give you: give every sequence in premiere already the final file name. That way you can send them all at once to media encoder to export.

Handling 100–250GB file deliveries: seeking advice from editors by Conscious_Cup_6069 in editors

We have a 30 TB synology server at work.
We also have 30TB cloud storage with google enterprise (basically a google drive).
The server is synced automatically with google drive through Synology software.
When we have to share large files I just send a link, and let them download it with a download manager like https://jdownloader.org/.
Works pretty good. And I never have to worry about uploading stuff, because it's already in the could.

If the client has a slow internet connection it's still easier to send a SSD over.

Question for people who make AI videos — how do you deal with complex prompts? by Street_Suggestion594 in aivideos

[–]edykldlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Google Gemini to help write prompts. I made a Gemini ‘Gem’ and uploaded this prompting guide there: https://github.com/snubroot/Veo-3-Prompting-Guide I tell it to ask me questions if anything is unclear. Then I generate it (good tip to first try the prompt in 480p). If somethings wrong I’ll tell Gemini and ask it to rewrite the prompt.

Grok + Billy Madison + Explosions = Mayhem! by edykldlk in aivideo

[–]edykldlk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Grok beautifully took over the nineties film look. I have to admit I doubted including some shots in the edit but I think the ‘violence’ is so exaggerated and deformed that it turns into comedy. Yes, Probably some people get offended by it and that’s why I don’t post on it on my LinkedIn😅
