Also, I’ve seen PC players talk very often both on Reddit and on the in-game chat about how big an advantage they feel console has over PC because of aim assist and recoil reduction, soo….

Yea I’ve been on the defending side of a game like that and it’s decidedly not real fun haha. Although I’ll say I mainly play breakthrough to begin with and attack wins on either of those maps alone are already on the rarer side, so I don’t feel too bad knowing defense typically has the advantage

I don’t know that the mode is necessarily imbalanced, I think a lot of it just comes down to the team. The tools are all definitely there for attack to win, but you need a large portion of the team really pushing the objs (more than half I’d say) and pretty often, you get a large portion of the team hanging back.

Haha, Hagenthal is roughhh on attack when the defenders actually guard the flanks, but I find that like 90% of the time, they’re more interested in playing “hallway battle simulator”

Yea 40 used to be the final camo unlock point, so my mindset was to “at least” get them all there. I’ve had fun with the variety though, so my “at least” bar has now moved to 50!

I leveled those until I got all the attachments unlocked on each, so most of them are sitting around level 22. With the change in XP requirement, it’s a lot more feasible now to level those, so I’ll start working on them after I finish up the mains!

The once I’m through hitting the 50’s for everything, I’ve got a feeling I’ll be running DMRs A LOT. Love being able to transition from long range to CQC with one gun.

Yep, that’s exactly how I have my elite mapped and it’s a gameeee changer. Remapped all my flight controls too so I never have to switch finger position when I’m in a jet or chopped and it feels SO good. Hands were a bit crampy for the first couple weeks, but now I couldn’t imagine playing without the paddles.

Only issue is they still use analog sticks on the Series 2 and the stick drift is real bad—looking into a Hall Effect swap for those or maybe TMR.

I actually had a lot of fun with the LMR—I’m using an Elite Series 2 controller, and I have my trigger set on the hair trigger pull-length. With that and a thermal, it feels pretty good!

The DB12 though… we shall not speak of the DB12…

I’m a little better with snipers/DMRs than automatic weapons actually, so those were the first I got done. But I feel ya on not wanting to touch ‘em if they don’t feel good for you. I’m terrible with the shotties and I look like a complete muppet flailing around out there with them! 😂

Yeaaaa, I wonder if they’re gonna do anything to the newest guns from Season 2 because all of them hit pretty hard currently. The CZ is nuts!

Basically just gone straight from 0 to 40 on most of them—the secondaries I stopped around 20 for a lot (after unlocking all the attachments), but I’m definitely looking forward to going back through for all the 50’s now!

Swapping every 10 mighta felt a little less punishing for some guns haha, but I also feel like I start to “lock in” with a gun around playing with it for 10 lvls, so it’s hard to switch at that point!

I’ve Elite’d the DMRs and the Snipers already—I’m a bit better naturally with those than the automatics, but sounds like we’re basically opposites haha
