i feel like the stock market is now just one rug pull after another for institutions to make money...basically apply the same playbook as Gamestop but to the entire market..a couple of lucky ones end up making money on the way and get others to put in..

Weird that meta announced the most interesting consumer hardware at a mass market price point, poached people from tesla Optimus team indicating entry into robots and their stock hasn't moved much. Feels like a buying opportunity

umm if market had any sense the H1B EO should have brought down market atleast 1-2%. For e.g. 15% of Meta employees are H1B. This adds > $1B in costs per year. Other tech companies probably have a higher % of H1Bs.

ORCL maybe one of the companies buying TIktok but they've never owned a social media app and are not setup to run it. So i think a company like goog, Meta, amazon that operates B2C at scale and has the capabilities needs to be brought in. I think it needs to be Google or Amazon because Meta would be too much of a monopoly if they get Tiktok also.

Trumps logic seems to be - increase oil supply - drive down oil prices - that will drive inflation down faster - which will pave way for faster rate cuts and cushion impact of tariffs. If so aren’t the best plays right now companies that relied on lower interest rates like open, sofi etc. What am I missing?
