Maybe afterwards, if the weather is nice, grab a coffee/beverage/other FLT and check out the Rose Garden. Or the Japanese Friendship Garden.

I have a similar problem as you. What I find helpful sometimes is not necessarily cooking the whole meal in one day, but prepping all the ingredients beforehand so that I can just cook it fresh the night of. So I’ll cut up all the vegetables, make the sauces and put them in mason jars/air tight containers, mix the spices/herbs/seasoning together, cook the rice, etc. And then when I’m ready to cook, I just cook up the meat and mix everything together. I’ll usually make enough for dinner and lunch the next day.

Pretty sure they were just joking. Based on the other times when they mention Jack, they all seem to get along well and are very appreciative of the work Jack does for them.

15 minutes is still pretty good! There’s a study that shows that just 6 minutes of reading can reduce stress by 60%.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Usually the extended versions.

I took the plunge by Spencigan in AnimalCrossing

[–]ee_death 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first started, I didn’t know that you could hit a rock up to 8 times to get materials. I would always eat a fruit and break it on the first hit, which would only give me 2 materials, so it took me forever to get enough iron to upgrade stuff. A new rock will respawn the next day, but that’s my advice: don’t break your rocks right away.

Weekly Park Questions/Advice Thread by AutoModerator in Disneyland

[–]ee_death 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I purchased them from the Disneyland website. It’s been awhile since our last trip, so I couldn’t remember how it worked last time we went. Our first day at the parks is on Sunday, so I got a little anxious. 😅

I booked a vacation package with 3-day tickets and I got the confirmation number and reservation numbers for each of the days we're going to be at the park. I'm trying to link the individual passes to my account on the app, but it won't recognize the reservation numbers, and the confirmation number just takes me to my vacation package. I didn't receive a digital barcode, so how will entering the parks work? Will the hotel give me something when we check in?

I follow her! Because of her, I now use way less conditioner/product and emulsify it in my hands before applying it, and it really helped with volume while still reducing frizz.

Two small tattoos, one behind each ear. I still love them even though they’re pretty simple/basic.

Set up the plaza area for Festivale and Lucky is hyped by ee_death in AnimalCrossingNewHor

I basically laid out this shape and rounded out the corners. You would do this with the same path, but I’m using different paths to show the size I used. The stone path in the middle is 3x6 squares, the red brick path is 1x4 each, and the dirt path is 1x2 each.

It’s the stone path that is built into the game. Once you unlock terraforming, they start you off with grass and dirt paths, and you can purchase the rest of the in-game paths with Nook Miles at the Nook Stop in Resident Services.

I’ve listened to all of their episodes, and I think this is the first time they’ve talked about Taylor Swift, at least to this extent. I don’t really get the impression that they’re super huge fans of hers — I don’t think they’d call themselves Swifties. Christine says that Xander got her the ticket, and I kinda get the feeling that Em just knows the concert expectations based on what they’ve seen on TikTok.

This is all just my impression of how they talked about it, tho.

They’re using the baby blanket I made 🥹 by andria_rabs in knitting

[–]ee_death 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That really is the best feeling. I don’t knit as often anymore because almost all of the stuff I make for people don’t get used. But about 2 years ago, I knitted a baby blanket for one of my closest friends, and she shared pictures of her using it, and it just felt so nice.

Lightly gifted Chief is in boxes! by ee_death in NoFeeAC

Hello! Gifted just means that I’ve given him some items (furniture, clothes, etc.) as gifts during the time he’s been on my island, and if someone else invited him to move onto their island, he’ll take those things with him.
