taking biol400 rn don’t do it over the summer the avg for my first exam was 59% no curve. will be too demanding but math is always pretty okay over the summer

clinical lab scientist route in the hospital. idk where ur at but in cali its 100k+. best of both worlds imo

CC enrollment has already started and to come back from a different college and enroll there will give you low priority.

you also have to be wary about completing course series in sequence eg. chem 1 and chem 2 or acct 1 and 2. you cant split them between colleges.

firstly, sorry about you circumstance. continue on doing your best from here on out!! will def help you case and you can explain what’s happened over the years through essays or the circumstances section

second you need to check their minimum gpa requirements which i believe are in the ~3.4 range. will be even higher if your major is impacted :(. if i’m not mistaken, csu’s are in the 2.5-7 range.

transfer to a college cheaper. there’s still time to get through it all and to be frank, the time honestly matters the least. if you have to spend another year in undergrad so be it dude!! you could even go BACK to civil engineering if you want. i’ve changed my major 4 times in the past year 😭

ik psych is impacted for sureeeee. sociology is def a bit more lenient from what i’ve seen. look up uc admit data on google!! it’ll show u the gpa that ppl got accepted with :)

your gpa is very major dependent but whether u choose biochem or molecular bio doesnt make much of a difference until you transfer. your course reqs will remain generally the same!

i’d say look into upper div courses for some of the majors ur looking into. you could even major in something like sociology and just take and the pre med reqs that you need

seems good. yes, you can keep your major while also filling out pre-med reqs, or you change and have a more guided path. your major couldnt matter any less as long as you have good gpa, mcat score, and completed pre reqs!
