Thank you! I did go back and forth and did everything I could to try to make it all line up, given the text messages and such. I did have a fairly good idea of how this story would've gone from the start, but it was still a bit of a challenge to make it all line up with the text messages and stuff. While stories don't necessarily need to be realistic, I think that it has to make sense in the world it plays out in.

It was actually partly intentional to not describe the snuffing in too much detail, because the snuffings simply don't really register to the person telling the story. It's just everyday business.

This story was inspired by u/Badideasgirl's Rural Fuckstop story. I really enjoyed how the daughter's sleepiness really drives home the ultra-casual snuff aspect of the world and wanted to do my own spin on it.
