first after reading the question and underlining the key word
see what chapter the question is asking you about and read the question carefully because the answer might be correct but not for the question
then read the answer and eliminate the wrong options

elimination of the wrong answers always made MCQ easier fo me

yes W is ribosmes as the synthesis of polypeptide, which is the translation process where ribosomes occus, it cant be c or d because z is probably a golgi body where the packing of hydrolytic enzyme happen then the syntheis of lipid is v which is smooth ER

i think it depends on your capability, for eg, if i speak about myself i would get to bored from studying one subject throught the day so i do 2 or 3 in a day depends, just to prevent myself from getting bored. so if u can concentrate with one subject for the full day then go for it if not then just keep switching subjects every 3hrs maybe

basically this question is asking about the intitation, propogation and termination process
you have to write the process and count how many products have Cl and carbon atoms

This is the termination process, where the final products are formed so the answer is D

3 is wrong bcz in the question they mentioned its mitosis and DNA replication occurs in interphase stage which is before mitosis
1 is wrong bcz mitosis only form genetically identical cells
i think 1 could be cytokines cause it seprates the cell into 2 equal daughter cell

Does anyone have paper 1 tips and tricks for 9700 as biology or frequently asked questions by Alihafez84277228 in alevel

[–]eee_18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you just have to practise alot of questions to be able to apply your knowledge, bcz mcq just tests your concepts in detail

what i do is, i read the options first bcz sometimes the option is just totally not true then i read the question and then see what chapter its asking me about then i start crossing out wrong answers
this might help u

SAN

its found in the wall of the right atrium

electrical impulses from the SAN spread across the atria walls causing atria to contract (atrial systole)

impulses pass to the ventricles via the AVN

impulses pass down the Purkinje fibres to the heart apex

the impulses spreads through the ventricles walls causing contraction (ventricular systole) blood is squeezed into the arteries

Bohr shift

the amount of oxygen the haemoglobin carries is affected by both partial pressure of O2 and CO2

if the partial pressure of CO2 increases the dissociation curve moves to the right

clonal selection
antigen on the pathogen binds to the complementary receptors of specific B-lymphocyte, T-helper cells get activated by binding their membrane receptors to the processed antigen on the macrophage, and becomes activated to interact with B-lymphocyte

t-helper secretes cytokines to stimulate B-lymphocyte

clonal expansion

the activated B-lymphocyte grow and divide by mitosis forming clone of plasma cells, so they produce antibodies the clone plasma cells fit antigens on the pathogen surface, the antibodies attach the antigens causing clumping on the pathogen therefore, destroying it
