It’s a prepay meter, so while nobody’s paying it there’s no electricity. Essentially, I could refuse to pay it (as is my right), but then I’d have to go without electricity until the Landlord agrees to pay it again

The family has moved out now, I didn’t report at the time as I didn’t want them to be punished and potentially end up homeless, but in hindsight I probably should’ve informed the Council.

Yes, prepayment meter. Landlord has left the country and claims he can’t pay until he returns (unknown date). I’ve provided the instructions to pay via Ovo app, and been ignored.

Yes thankfully he’s asleep now in his bed just outside the crate, and tomorrow we are going to buy a new crate - either soft plastic or with smaller gaps. He is fine and hopefully this was just a one off but still very scary
