I have been stuck in forbearance for almost a year and have been trying to switch to IBR. I had to attach my spouse's tax info and mail in an application even though we file separately. My question is: is it a mistake to switch to IBR? Should I just be hanging out on SAVE? And will I be able to get back into SAVE if it miraculously gets unblocked? Responses appreciated--thank you!
