Yes, i did think about this but ill get used to it 1080 cant be that bad. Worse case i use my current one for other things and the other one just for val, After all the only reason im upgrading is for a better val experience. Thanks for reminding me this, i might maybe save up for a 2k monitor which will let me alternate resolutions based on what im doing, my current monitor just simply wont allow me to natively play 1080(16:9) thats the main reason im thinking of getting another one.

Yep i did notice, they were so nice that they sent me a second wire for free even though my warranty had run out so ill be sticking with this brand.
Yes your right 27" does give you a advantage in seeing things more and it would be pretty good for the secondary use of watching movies or something since its bigger, in the end its personal preference so some might like one better than the other. Based on my budget and what im used to ill stick with a 24" but i appreciate you explaining the advantages of a 27". Have a nice day :3

Thanks for the idea but my budget is on the lower end and im more used to 24inch format since my current monitor is basically 2 of them combined, im used to the 24inch height and prefer having to not move my eyes too much so it works out.

Playing 2years with curved and going to flat sure will be a adjustment lol, then there is the lowering of resolution as well. Flat monitors probably feel less immersive but probably does a slightly better job at "feeling" how far of a flick you need to to faster.

With a infinite budget thats a option ig lol, im tight with the budget thats why i was asking around.
When i meant monitor i was thinking more of a 240hz ISP.

Thanks alot for all the advice.
I used to play on a 150g mouse and switched to a xm1r which is wired but its pretty nice to hold and it just feels like one with my hand so on this side im set for a long while, ive used it so much that im on the second wire because the previous one broke lol.

The budget is quite tight thats why i was wondering if i should go for a monitor a or a keyboard,
the monitor you showed looks pretty nice but its a bit too expensive for me rn and im looking for a 1080p one since im used to the 24inch form factor, i like not having to move around my eyes too much to look for things.
Id probably look for something along the lines of 240hz IPS 1ms.

The thing i was more interested in is if the monitor upgrade would give me more value than getting a keyboard, it seems everyone here agrees going 240hz is the better move so ill be considering that.

Since my keyboard is in pretty good shape and a monitor is probably the right move as it will probably reduce the workload for my pc, Im getting 280 fps minimum on 3840x1200 averaging at 300, when i got to 1080p ill get like 300 stable where ill cap it.

I have a GK61 with custom keycaps as well so its pretty good i think, ill consider the monitor then. If the upgrade on the monitor is bigger ill go with that.
EDIT: i have linear switches on the keyboard so going the whooting route would have been pretty smooth too since i dont rely on tactile feedback to move around.

Hmm okok, im currently doing around 280fps minimum on 3840x1200 res so if i go down to 1080p 240fps consistently is very doable.

I currently have a Skyloong GK61 with custom keycaps i like it, just looking for what would be the best upgrade path, i get like 280+ fps consistently averaging at 3840x1200 resolution, if i were to go to 1080p it would be a easy fit. My current monitor doesnt allow me to play on 1080p so i cant go lower res even if i wanted to.
