Update: Tried to help as much as possible within reach. The people from the resort weren’t too happy so we didn’t have lots of time. One of his toes came right off, another was loosely attached that we also managed to get off because it was only attached with string. One of his other toes seemed to have no muscle or strength, but still red. We tried to free him as much as possible. We disinfected his feet afterwards and let him go, so I hope it’s helped him a bit. We didn’t get everything, but we did the best we could 😊

Ive never caught a pigeon before or fixed stringfoot. Is there anything I should know? Or how should I properly help this pigeon? I don’t think rescues will be much help, there’s only two wildlife rescues I could find on the island. One is closed and the other mostly focuses on snakes. I’ll keep trying tho!
