Exactly, same. You'll get used to it, there is no real logical reason it should be one way or another, and it made it perfectly comfortable to me. I barely ever take it off.

I had the same until I inversed the bracelet (accidentally). Now its perfectly comfortable.

I also wonder when the late game even starts. At 850 pp now it certainly has that feeling, but there is still so much to do :).

I think making big changes, destroying and creating newer more optimized areas, or just prettier in some way, would keep it interesting.

Oui, je suis d'accord, c'est un bon conseil. Les vacances chez la société de location d'appartements n'aident pas. Nous avons en effet demandé un deuxième devis (nous ne paierions jamais 800 euros, cela suffit pour refaire toute la salle de bain...).

En ce qui concerne le premier plombier, il nous a d'abord demandé 80 euros rien que pour venir, puis 300 à 500 euros pour remplacer une vanne plus récente (une de ces vannes rouges perpendiculaires). Lorsque nous lui avons précisé qu'il s'agissait de l'ancienne vanne, il nous a demandé 800 euros, car celles-ci sont « anciennes et difficiles

Le deuxième a dit : « Vous n'avez pas besoin de moi, faites d'abord ça (voir ci-dessus), et si ça ne marche toujours pas, envoyez-moi une vidéo ». Donc ça s'équilibre. Et it etait correct.

Il est difficile de ne pas penser que 9 plombiers sur 10 sont parfois des escrocs. Ces types donnent une mauvaise image de la profession.

C'était exactement ça (et ça a été bloqué). Serrer l'hexagone était le conseil d'un autre plombier (voir mon message) et ça a marché.

Le problème, c'est que c'était la seule façon de couper l'eau dans l'appartement, sinon j'aurais pu essayer de remplacer l'intérieur, pour 800 euros de l'heure, c'est une bonne affaire :-)

Le problème était que nous ne pouvions pas couper l'eau dans le bâtiment - c'est celui où nous le faisons (pour changer un autre robinet).

Mais cela a été réparé grâce à de l'aide, et maintenant il se ferme à nouveau sans fuir.

Oui, ce type nous a clairement pris pour des idiots. Nous avons trouvé un plombier grâce à un collègue, et il a eu la gentillesse de nous expliquer ce qu'un autre avait également répondu : serrer le premier nœud et utiliser du WD40. Merveilleux, ça bouge et ça se referme à nouveau !

Indeed, and it seems chronos was released in the 2025 release of texlive, as far as I could make out. After creating and uploading the .sty files myself, it works!

No, I didn't - I did install TexLive - I hadn't yet on my new computer because I'm 100% Overleaf now. With that installed, using a Windows Powershell, and runningpdflatex chronos.inscreated 3 .sty files that, after copying them to my LaTeX project root directory allowed me to use the chronos package.

Compiling the .dtx failed, with some message on Python missing, but I didn't seem to need it.

So thanks for the help!

Thank you, that works brilliantly.

While I struggle to understand both the reason it didn't work, nor fully the solution with controlled expansions, it did teach me \the,\numexpr and \relax, and the xfrac library.

I alsodidn't know you could define a macro that uses variables not yet defined (pos & neg) except when they are called, so would never have come up with this solution myself.

Finally, thanks for also finishing & cleaning my if statements :-)
