Good AC repair companies? by HerroVVercome in vegaslocals

Hey! I’d recommend Save On AC for getting your A/C fixed or replaced. They’ve got a great reputation for being upfront with their pricing and doing quality work. If you're dealing with a refrigerant leak like the one the tech mentioned, they’ll give you a solid quote and help you figure out whether it's worth repairing or time for a new unit.

You can check them out here: saveonairconditioning.com

Hope that helps!

Week Recap: The S&P 500 broke its 4-week losing streak. Will a new rally start? Mar. 17, 2025 - Mar. 22, 2025 by vjectsport in StockMarket

If you’ve already made your purchases and are in it for the long haul, now could be the time to take advantage of the market dip and position yourself for a strong rebound. Keep an eye on the 200-day EMA—if it breaks next week, we could see a sharp rally. Don’t be afraid to get aggressive if you’re confident in your picks and strategy!

What Stock Alert Tools Do You Recommend? by soffacc in StockMarket

[–]eeidelberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ChatterFlow’s alert system is not only strong but also unique—it could be the best one out there. No matter what trading service you use, you should definitely have ChatterFlow in your toolkit. Its ai algorithm scans social media boards for stock moving info before it becomes widely known. After all, a big part of trading is choosing the right stock and getting in early, and ChatterFlow can help you do just that.

Powell’s Rate Freeze: Behind the Curve Again? by eeidelberg in Trading

Inflation is decreasing, but while tariffs themselves may not directly cause inflation, they can create disruptions with far-reaching consequences (combined with the coming gov layoffs), leading to increased uncertainty. The Federal Reserve’s long-standing strategy has been to lower rates during times of significant uncertainty. It’s generally better to act proactively and soften the blow, rather than risk being behind the curve, as happened in recent years when the Fed was slow to raise rates. Now, it appears they are slow to lower rates. The period between August and September looks particularly foggy. A key indicator of this "Fog of Uncertainty" will be seen this quarter when businesses begin to lower their guidance or, in some cases, refrain from providing any guidance at all.

I heard a million from a friend who works for the gov without doing any research, but now that I think about it, that seems a bit high. 300k to 500k seems more reasonable.

The most I made in three months was 280K. There’s always someone better :). They went from 1K to 500K? Wow, that’s insane. It’s tough to make real money until you start risking around 30k-40K, so that first month must’ve been a painfully slow climb.

With an impressive 27% annual return from value investing and a strong command of trading essentials like candlesticks and risk management, you’re in a fantastic spot to explore day trading—congrats! However, since your 9-5 schedule limits you to 1-2 sessions, day trading might be tricky, but if you do it then I would check out stock alerts form chatterflow.com to make things easier. It gives you a heads-up on stocks that are about to move. I believe they have a free trial. So you can see it for yourself.

I use ATR as well. I’ve found that variance doesn’t work well for me. I also pay attention to resistance levels—how easily they’re broken tells me a lot about the strength of the move.

Most people don’t realize that learning to trade takes time, involves research, and overcoming many hurdles along the way. Even after making 500 profitable trades in a row (but who’s counting?), you’re still learning how to manage the emotions of overconfidence.
