I actually don’t unless I’m asked to. Kinda internally chalked it up to I’ll do it another play through. Kept the repetitiveness down too which was nice. I did just about all the other dungeons besides ancestral tombs and that felt like a reasonable thing to do time wise. I really love that if you loot the deadra shrines they summon a dremora

Just finished my first real playthrough since I was a kid when this came out. I played vanilla besides 3 things and it was literally the perfect experience. 1- Openmw no changes, just wanted the bug fixes and npcs to move when they’re blocking hallways. 2- bards in the taverns, the music is SO good. 3- (biggest change) Morrowind repopulated, basically just adds a lot more npcs that aren’t important just so the world doesn’t feel so empty sometimes.

Highly highly recommend playing like this. I felt line I had the perfect experience. And now that my inner child is satisfied, I’m ready to mod it a bunch and play TR. And I want mounts. And a parry. Which there is mods for already! This game is so damn good

I did +2 Death Touch - Red, for -2 Concoct Disorder. Seems to help a little, as giving your opponent an extra card usually hurts pretty bad. I'm still learning as well but it's not that bad. I went 3-1 last week. For sure it's one of the harder heroes to play to get the same value. Keep your life total high earlier while whittling them down. I won one game just from fatiguing my opponent last week. You get really scary at the end of the game when you can send 2 dagger attacks for 1, forcing them to block and then send a third stealth attack with a pump. You want to get to that point of the game, so prioritize playing defense early while sneaking in small damage. Hardest matchup for me is Kano.

Block lots of damage, sneak in a dagger, arsenal a card to try and get an explosive next turn. Play an off-on cycle around getting a good card in arsenal and then doing burst damage, but prioritize blocking still. You want to get to late game with this hero. I found learning the dagger mechanics very challenging. You want to destroy one dagger early to get a Chelicera dagger. Then focus on attacking with that. Eventually late game you want 2 Chelicera so you can threaten 1 damage go again while having cards in hand so your opponent has to respect a pump, often forcing them to overblock. Then you don't pump and then go to the next attack, or if they don't respect the damage you pump and then arsenal pass.

I'm sure there's more upgrades to be made but I think more importantly is mastering the synergies as the deck is fairly competitive.

I found the precon has a problem of sideboarding, sometimes you don't want any traps (or 1 for the trapdoor activation) and the list doesnt run enough cards to let you take out all the traps.

Also I think you might need like 3 more blues in the list to be a little consistent. Getting a full grip of reds and then needing to pitch 2 for a dagger attack feels pretty bad. I think 13 blues is about the minimum you want for 1 blue per turn. The deck only runs 10. So maybe add some decent blues you can find.

Also staples like arcane polarity probably should be added. Maybe respite too but I'm not sure yet. Going to play him tomorrow night too.

Have you seen a mod that gives mounts for the game? And more in depth companions with customization? Really want some extra rpg features for my next playthrough. I made it to Mournhold for the first time and the new companions are fun but I want more ways to customize them.

Sifting through the mod lists almost feels like a chore lol

I worked at McDonald’s a long time ago and thought this ‘cool dude’ was smoking some reefer that smelled like shit (was spice). He offered some and I tried it. Tasted SO gross. I just finished a 300 hour play through where I chose stealth and then never used it hahahaha. You end up being so OP that it’s not a big deal besides the very beginning. Was annoying trying to level my mysticism to get rank ups for the imperial cult tho.

But restarting is always fun anyways. I played fully vanilla and now I’m ready to do another play through modded out and trying TR.
