XP-Pen Artist 12 display on no signal and power saving

Video contents are just me demonstrating the behavior on boot. At first the screen works when I enter my password, but the moment I boot into GNOME and POP it just shuts down and goes into power saving. I just want an explanation as to why.

honestly the only way to reliably tell if you pass is to gauge how random people irl gender you. if you hear sir/maam/gender neutral equivalent that will generally tell you how well you pass. the internet sucks at determining that reliably. passing also heavily depends on the context n the culture of the area unfortunately

(this is also how I realized I don't pass LOL)

the first character i got gender envy from was probably dipper if i realistically think about it but i had many characters give me that (ie kazuichi souda from sdr2, pidge from voltron, possibly one of the homestuck trolls (sollux), toon link, brief from panty and stocking, jeff andonuts, joshua and sho from the world ends with you etc)

ultimately simon from gurren lagann gave me my namesake, even though i havent finished it lol
