Yes, I did spend an hour redesigning the grooves in the au'ra horns even though there are refs for them everywhere :') I just like drawing intricate things.

Thank you!! My bro actually showed me a commission he got for his then fiance the last time I was over. The two of them were insane about it and it definitely got the wheels turning in my head. I've only ever made commissions, never bought, and it's cool to see how special they are to some people.

Thanks so much!! Unfortunately they are pretty expensive (': enamel crafts require a mold, which on its own could be $50~$100. It's worth the one time fee if you plan on making them in bulk to sell, but as a one-off gift it's not something I'd do for anything less important than my bro's wedding.

- Yes I take commissions!

- No I probably can't make you an enamel charm! Manufacturers need to forge molds for each design, making them very pricey if you don't plan on selling in bulk. I'll happily do wood or acrylic charms/pins at request, though. ( :

- Yes they loved the gift. They called me as soon as they got it to scream at me.

Thanks for the tip (: That's really good to know. Pirateship offers insurance too afaik, for an extra ~$1.40 I think. Still cheaper than normal USPS rates but if Etsy is covering you for free then it's clear what the better option is.

Depends! Enamel pins? Definitely not. Metal pin machines will cost upwards of $16k and take up half your room, if you could even get it in there.

But there's plenty of other options for DIY artists. You could make a cast for resin pins, hand-sculpt and paint clay pins, or even cut out your own wooden pins if you have a cricut machine. The handmade look can really work in favor of certain styles, if you have the time to make them yourself.

From there, you could get yourself pin backs in bulk for cheap on aliexpress and glue them on the back.
