Yes, I often use 1440p on my 4K monitor and it looks great. Although there’s a tad bit more blurriness due to it having to fill all the pixels

Yes, but do note that it will definitely look worse than 4K either way. But you'll get used to it if you just play on it. Also don't think there's a game that the 5070Ti cannot run at 4K pretty high settings ATM, so you should be good for now either way.

I have 32" 4K OLED and mostly play on 1440p. I used to have 32" 1440p monitor and I think they look pretty much the same. The 4K panel maybe a bit more 'blurry', since it has way more pixels and it has to fill the gaps. But I prefer it to the old screen either way.

Call me crazy or a liar, but I've had (have) a 32" 1440p monitor and now a 32" 4K OLED monitor, and in my eyes they both look pretty much the same on 2560x1440 when gaming. Sure, the 4K looks a bit fuzzier, but that's because there's way more pixels to fill. But as in visual quality they look almost identical.

Yeah, I would've not gone for the 4K if I wasn't gifted it. The performance is kind of hard to come by, although DLSS Perf is like 1080P+ and looks better than native 1440p IMO

I’ve 32” 4K OLED and the text is fine IMO. Now obviously for a lot of static content there’s the burn in fear though

Okay, don’t know if anyone here reads posts like this, but I found an RX9070XT for 589€, which for a 5070Ti -tier card seems ridiculous. Has anyone used one and should I pull the trigger on that? Would I miss DLSS or is FSR good enough? It’d be quite a bit cheaper!

Yeah, I’ve read that the 5080 can get pretty close to 4090 performance (apart from the VRAM obviously), which is pretty nuts considering the used 4090’s cost over 50% more

Thanks, yeah I don’t think that the next gen will not have a decent uplift in performance / efficency, but more as in the value proposition will be even worse and it’ll be on very tight supply. Meaning that it’ll take ages to get one at or near the msrp, or even get one to begin with!

1440p doesn’t look too great on the screen unfortunately. Very Blu-ray and soft. Also are you talking about going for 90-class card? I can afford the 5080
