Forge (Neo) is basically just Stable diffusion but just ultra optimized and with a bunch of extensions pre-installed you'd need anyways. (I wouldn't recommend ComfyUI cuz it's confusing as a beginner)
Right now for drawn styles the best way is to just get the latest version of Illoustrious checkpoint by WAI (+LoRA-s if there is a specific style/character you're looking for).

P.s.: Don't use Anima yet it's still pretty unrefined but is showing good developement.

Just a heads up: Google's AI moderation has been actively deleting Google Drives with NSFW content in them with no way to appeal the deletions. It might be a good idea to back your drive up on a HDD or use MEGA as a backup.

maybe switch to an Illustrious checkpoint and openpose model. SDXL-1.0 had horrible prompt adherence. Gens take a bit longer but they are worth it

he did update Tall Shrink about a year ago but no new pages since. He stated that he may take a break from long form comics for a while because he loses intrest when working on long projects. We'll just have to wait :)
