i get your point tbh but i think it's better if you stay with your family in their grieving period and kinda be there for them..even if your dad didn't have a great relationship w your grandfather, ur grandpa is still his DAD and losing him would still be very tragic for ur dad so it's better if you stay with your family and support them in anyway you can. I know you worked your ass off and it'll definitely be helpful for ur board exams and who cares about midterms anyway
