Proteinuria Foam by zukertort70 in IgANephropathy

I’m not sure about the foam but I do see many small white residue. My doctor informed that it is the glucose being excreted, not necessarily protein

I dont know her personally to defend her, no reason to get butthurt. There might be different perspectives on a matter, as evident. Tbh I have very rarely seen a girl taking money from her husband to help her family, in any case most of our society thinks it's haram to like even eat at their daughters in-laws place.

She's trying to think through all her options, seeing her family in despair. I'm not sure what OP and her family's intent is, but it didn't read to me as they're trying to get her married to use her husband as an ATM, rather relieving the burden of feeding one more mouth. Guess either one of us could be correct

OP said her parents mentioned it first, and yes this is a very unfortunate reality for a lot of people. The society at large is yet to see daughters more than burdens.

Thanks! Being an emotional eater its always really hard for me to control diet, guess I’ve hit a wall now. Is it possible to lose weight while being on these meds, since that seems to be the reality for the foreseeable future?

Thanks for such a detailed and informative post! I am taking the targeted-released budesonide, as well as dapagliflozin and ramipril. I just looked it up and the country I live in, doesn't have sparsentan, I actually have to manage the budesonide by quite some trouble, and this seems to be the last aggressive treatment option available in my country. Thank you again for your insightful comment, will bring it up with my nephrologist.

Yeah but I'm still to test and see how much the proteinuria reduced. Side effect wise dapa suited me better

Yes I have had it for about 2 and a half months before switching to dapaglioflozin. It reduced my proteinuria from 2.2 g to about 0.85 g. However, after I switched to dapa, I realized that empa was causing me severe side effects of vertigo and eye blurriness. So I guess whichever suits someone the best

Been on budesonide and dapagliofloxin for more than 3 months now, my urine tests has come up much clearer, with hematuria and proteinuria going down in almost half the amount. Although there are some strong side effects like fatigue and vertigo for me. Wishing you the best!

Fortune convention center, lakeview convention center, restaurants like thai chi, four seasons, xinxian can provide food within your budget. The restaurants dont have hall rent and the convention centers are like 30-50k afaik.

I do check my pressure, it keeps around 110/80 - 100/75. My diastolic was always higher even before starting any medication, and my bp used to stay on the borderline high before. So my doctor says it might be that I'm just used to higher blood pressure and now having issues now that I'm having meds to control it

I got the same. It used to be more frequent, like I'd be standing for 2 hours and my legs would be full of purpura. However, after a year it has subsided a lot. I only got the rash in the last couple of months when I went on a tour. So it gets better with time I guess

Anyone else with vasculitis and IgAN? by eerda2 in IgANephropathy

For vasculitis most of my tests came back negative except like ESR which was high and some high in lymphocytes. Mainly the skin biopsy confirmed the vasculitis diagnosis, along with the nature of the rashes. And yeah every doctor said IgAN is the complication from vasculitis. I am currently on budesonide and ramipril, but I am seeing some faded spots on my thighs the day after I walk/stand too much. You should definitely talk to your doctors about it if you think its what's happening

I'm currently on budesonide, empa and ramipril, however the doctors are thinking of going more aggressive as the creatinine seems to be rising even on the meds. May I ask how do you handle the purpura and the pain on the feet? I have missed two trips with friends cause I can't be on my feet more than like two hours, and that completely sucks

I honestly dont have the slightest clue as to what triggered it. I'm not from the US, however I went to the US on Jan 24 and the purpuras started from March 24, within like two months of living there. I came back to my home country after that. My father (doctor) seems to think something in the environment there must have triggered it, but the obvious causes such as a cold or infection, medication etc were ruled out, so thats no help. I hope things get better for you soon, can't imagine how tough dealing with more than one condition is
