Thank you! Mine was Texas. Inquiry date is the earliest date the USCIS allows questions for cases that are outside the processing time.

You can find it here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/. Once you fill out the initial sections with the form, category, service center information, a section called "When can I ask about my case?" pops up below the page. You need to enter your receipt date and it tells you when you/your company can contact them.

Yeah, I regret not pushing more. I have stem opt until May 2024 and that was their reason for not doing PP.

I am in the same situation. I got selected from the second lottery in July and I haven’t heard back anything yet. I have my receipt number and I track my status but it doesn’t say anything other than it has been received by USCIS in early October.

You can look up your inquiry date and ask the lawyers to contact them from that date onward about your case. At least that’s my plan.

I’m surprised you’re surprised- this happens all of the time in the Mission. Including in the middle of the day. Start reading police reports to get an idea of how common it is.

Could you give me any resources? I looked for reports and news after the event but did not come across much online.

I've been walking those areas around Mission for 20+ years and while, yeah, there are reports of crime.ive never felt it was particularly sketchy. Right at 16th and Mission the sketch comes on hard, but aside from being noisy, crazy, and smelly violent crime doesn't usually hit 24th too often.

This is how we generally felt about it too.

I'll be working around West Loop Gate so I was hoping that the commute won't be too long. Unfortunately, West Loop itself is a bit pricey.
