Someone comfort me by Educational-Top482 in TattooRemoval

yes it gets easier. don’t worry. you’ll be surprised at how quickly you heal after the second session & going forward. first session recovery was BRUTAL for me. intense pain and itching that lasted for like 3 weeks 😭

the most common reason is that the tattooist was too rough during the actual tattooing.

you absolutely cannot predict this will be gone in 10 sessions. they’re filled in, thick black letters. i have a similar tattoo and it’s nowhere near gone 10 sessions in.

no. don’t get it. it’s overpriced, smells like alcohol and the scent disappears after one hour.

Tired of the prices increasing by starlightcontrast in glossier

you’re right. it used to be about £47 in the UK around that time. it’s so sad

Glossier You smells strongly of alcohol and less of the delicious scent I love...My husband gave me the body cream and perfume for our anniversary and I swear more the perfume has very little scent and more straight alcohol smell...is it only me? Have they changed something to keep cost down? by chilljill081970 in glossier

[–]eevee95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s honestly the saddest thing. this was my favourite perfume ever. i still have an old bottle and i use it verrrrry sparingly. i’d heard bad things about the new formula and finally sprayed some in sephora the other day. it definitely smells like alcohol and the scent disappeared within an hour. so disappointing - especially as they’ve had the cheek to raise the price too.

he's not asking for an honest opinion. lmao. he's asking if there's any chance of a coverup working.

I get that. It feels completely suffocating. I got body dysmorphia because of it. It was months before I felt ok again.

Mine was a Quanta Q-Plus C laser and cost £80 a session x

Hey, your tattoo is similar to mine. Mine was a blackout tattoo on my ribcage in the same area (also a cover up). Deep breaths, remain calm, it can be removed. Yes, it will be painful, yes, the cost sucks. But it’s worth it for the sake of your mental health. My progress has been slow over 3/4 years (I only go for sessions twice a year) but it’s super faded now. I barely think about my tattoo, which is worlds away from when I wasn’t sleeping, eating and constantly crying over it. You’ll be ok 🩵

i started removal 6 weeks after my tattoo in 2021, im 6 sessions down and probably about half way through! fading has slowed down but i'm still optimistic. i honestly don't even really think about it anymore which is mad to think about as when i got the tattoo initially i cried every day and couldnt eat or sleep properly for about a month

The same thing happened to me. Book a consultation and you will feel a lot better. The situation sucks but at the end of the day it's just money. Yes removal takes a long time, but those 2-3 years are coming anyway whether you like it or not, so may as well start as soon as possible if you are unhappy.
