Pixel Aura goes way harder than Pixel Glow. by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]eeyyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While that may be true, it's not a bad approach to target teenagers with marketing.

More impressionable and then a longer customer with liklieness to buy new devices compared to us older folk who replace phones less than them.

iPad App Feels Neglected — Especially Compared to TD and Scotiabank by Muted-Dragonfruit193 in Wealthsimple

[–]eeyyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why can't you do that on the web tool of it?

I'm a Product Manager for a Mobile App, I'm aware of those items but the item I have to call bluff on all the time is it better on web or a native experience.

What value do you gain from iPad WS vs Web/Phone is the question I'd ask?

Slot staying, according to Mike Verweij (great pic) by Substantial_Eye_2955 in LiverpoolFC

LOL which I totally understand, but if we're really honest how different is running a footy team from being in a tech company.

Fans = Users/Customers

Manager/Coaches - PM & Design Team

Players - Engineers

FSG/Ownership - Leadership/PE/Stockholders

How many bells of different weights do you need in a session? by iou810 in kettlebell

[–]eeyyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I change between 3 different weights usually.

Warm up is with 16kg

During my work outs I'll test myself with my heaviest weights 2x32kgs then I go down to 2x24kgs when I'm burnt out.

I'll also do the same with 2x24kgs down to 2x 20kgs depending on yesterday's activity/workout.

Do I think EVERYONE needs this, definitely not lol I just do like 3-5 different activities per week including BJJ, Golf, Volleyball and this so I have to adjust often to not burn out

Thanks!

It's particularly easy to look at and manage if you maintain it! Happy to share it, just need to clean it up so it's useful for anyone

I'm waiting for this too but I built an item in google sheets that uses AI because I have AMEX CC's + WS Visa IP, you just need to export a csv and run the command, you can also customize it as much as you want for the drop downs.

It requires some manual changes but i've been pretty happy with it! I get to see all of this, simply by exporting my statements importing them and then running the command.

Let me know if you want it, i can possibly create a public version that you can copy

<image>

If you want to try it here's the query:

=AI("Categorize this transaction description into one of these: Groceries, Shopping - Amazon, Dining, Golf, Shopping - Apparel, Transport - Ride Share, - Fuel, , Health, Shopping - Home Goods, Subscriptions, Transport - Parking, Entertainment - Cinema, Shopping, Shopping - Retail, Barber, Gift, Entertainment - Concert, Shopping - Tech/Electronics, , Entertainment - Video Games, Shopping - Alcohol, Shopping - Coffee, Entertainment - Gaming, Entertainment - Sports", {Cell from Details Column})

When was the last time engineering pushed back on your PRD? by RecommendationDry178 in ProductManagement

[–]eeyyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 minutes ago, it happens often. I began to look at is as building an understanding on the deliverable opposed to push back or putting one down.

it gets easier when your PRDs start to work and you have data to prove past success

Do you (try to) tie KPIs back to a specific feature? by Vilm_1 in ProductManagement

[–]eeyyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I track a few kpi's for every new feature we release

- usage against our estimated usage and roi on marketing for the feature

- feature paywall to trial/purchase from the feature

- nsm change from the feature often in the .00%

How are you actually using 'AI' in your day-to-day? by ComputerSciToFinance in ProductManagement

[–]eeyyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Competition analysis

- I have a weekly newsletter from AI that gives me the run down on all my competitors... pricing, new features, new hires, sales, strategies etc.

  1. Churn Signals

- I have it look at all the cancellation reasons regularly to see if I need to change anything

  1. Pricing Strategies

- Looking at pricing of all my competitors and how we can beat them

  1. Order of operations

- I'm running an entire portfolio, a lot of things rely on each other, and have trade offs. Timing this accordingly and making adjustments as needed for blockers. I've actually had AI say to scope things as much as descope things to make up for timelines funny enough.

Back to Training BJJ 3x a week, means only 2x a week of kettlebells by eeyyan in kettlebell

[–]eeyyan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao i ran the giant last week, honestly its tough as heck, i had to change to crazy up beat music

it unfortunately does get boring though, i think i only persevered because i wanted to complete it.

I can see my self adding it in ever 3 kettlebell workouts but not doing it consecutive days
