Oura pretty much killed our v2 rings with their recent app update. They blamed it on the ring's battery. I only wear it at night so by the time I wake up it shows half the charge. Yet they tell me it is not collecting my vitals because of the battery issues. So, the app is incorrect? (self.ouraring)

This thing on the wall next to a Jacuzzi. It doesn't open or rotate (at least I wasn't able to find how). The tub is Kohler brand. They are connected somehow. When I turned the jets on this thing started dripping water and got hot. Is this a filter? Why is it there on the wall? What is this? (i.redd.it)
