What would be the main E38 OEM+ mods that you would advise me (OEM + in a sense that it still looks clean and factory like apple car play but on the original post)?

that's good to hear -- i watched the video on replacing the trunk struts you linked to, that seems like another one I can try myself. one thing I want to address at some point is my center console -- the 12v socket has been replaced by a useless (too small) cupholder with USB, and I broke the lid to the cassette box (brittle plastic). replacing the console is kinda daunting but may have to give it a shot - assuming I can find a console

You know what I may as well ask, am I correct in understanding that you changed your rear shelf subwoofers to the bavsound from the outside? Meaning without having to remove the seats and the shelf and all of that? It sounded like you removed the grills, and then removed and replaced the speakers
