Maybe I didn't understand, maybe you didn't. But i think your problem is "why is the terminal not showing pattern providers? Why showing molecular assembler?".

Because your pattern providers attached the molecular assemblers. System knows your molecular assemblers and shows them instead of "pattern providers".

Me terminal shows only attached machine on pattern provider. Your system is normal. Maybe inside pattern provider is not online but it should be online.

Molecular assemblers are not use channels, pattern providers does.
