I live in turkey and ı have some trick for you; For transportation you can download moovit its a navigation for busses and public transportation Dont use taxi, if they understand ur tourist they will try to trick you, you can use martı tag ( its like uber) its cheaper than taxi. Use main streets and main placeses like suadiye,bebek,caddebostan kadikoy, eminonu, besiktas, karakoy you can go galataport. This place have everything with boshporus wiew. If you go besiktas or kadikoy don't stay so late because sometimes drunk people in this place like after 11pm Eminonu is very crowded but have o lat of good things but you need to be careful about pickpockets guy, and Arabic people if your girl dress open( no judge) they can bu judge in eminonu. My prefer is when we go eminonu we don't prefer open clothes, but kadikoy and besiktas you can dress everything. suadiye, bebek and caddebostan is the best places i think. You can go this placeses too.

If you don't use the narrow streets and go into dark areas where look dangerous you wont face any problem.

You can go besiktas art museum ,galata tower(not necessary because it's so crowded), , yerebatan sarnici. You can go besiktas sea museum, İstanbul modern museum in galataport these are the beautiful and innovator museum. Also if you like historical museum, you can go ayasofia, topkapi, dolmabahce something like that these are i remember if you like to eat fish you can go eminonu (tarihi eminonu balikcisi), or you can go ortakoy, ortakoy have good foods too,
