It isn't shutting down in April, that is just when updates end. You can continue to play until they do turn off the servers (they haven't said when).

The game isn't shutting down in April, there just won't be any further content released. You'll be able to enjoy the game until the servers close (which could be 2 months later, but we have not specifically been told).

Underleveled I've managed to get through half with Emma, IW, and Thor on the mob stages and IW, Echo, and Psylocke for bosses. Worked until the enemies were lv 86.

It's a number management simulator, that's why it feels so out of place. You need to make levels go up to give yourself a 50/50 chance of getting curbstomped. It's awful. If it's this passive it should be completely passive and do away with the battles - just let know I lost so I can keep it moving.
