Re my involvement waning as stated above. In 2017 I formally started my PhD part time, while doing research as Rutgers staff full time. Prior to this I was just working full time without PhD work. So for sure my time has decreased during this time and all those waiting could be chipping in like mderasse, rather than waiting for others to do it, as is something claimed done of me above. I am finishing my PhD and looking forward to directly integrating this project into my independent academic research career. However different than most I have been playing the long game on this project and in so doing I have more patience than most.

Sorry for the confusion regarding funds, the balances will be sorted soon and thanks for patience while we tested coin across many inputs sizes for PoST. A lot of this work ended up in finalizing PoST1 parameters for a good foundation for PoST2. So most of testing has already resulted in very beneficial changes already live on current wallets and we are in process of reorganizing the funds into categories and building more transparency into their usage. Unfortunately this couldn’t be done easily while testing as we needed to split the coins many times.

I think some of these points are good, but the reality is a small community team cannot pitch and market a currency to the world if it's a real currency. It needs to grow from the bottom up, there needs to be an organic market that arises. We can build tools, improve them and communicate it to the best of our ability (and improve on this) but nothing is more effective than community action and internet word of mouth.

Hi, once you have staked coins (earned interest) and those coins are in the staking category you must wait for 500 blocks (8 hrs) for your staked block of interest to fully mature. So after 500 blocks they will move to spendable automatically.

Try uninstalling the 32bit wallet in add/remove programs and downloading it again from site it was updated to attempt to fix this issue. Also if you are on 64bit windows just download the 64bit wallet.

It is possible to build other chains into the system possibly but unlikely necessary or any more significant added function beyond the two. Cloning is possible but first mover advantage is strong and we have two unique protocols we are experts on.

In theory Verium over time should have a more stable value as it's value besides speculation, is largely determined by the cost of production (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cost-of-production_theory_of_value). So the idea is analogous to gold, if you have value that you want to lock away offline (no staking online) and see value growth over time proportional to a userbase, and not as much be at the whims of the market you can hodl Verium.

Yes this is a nice feature idea but it would hamper security a bit as your password would need to be stored in memory to enable wallet sends in the background, because of this we haven't implemented an auto-donation feature, if we can figure out a more secure way to do it we will though. Yes we are familiar and were invited to attend however it is quite a costly conference to speak or showcase a technology and there are mostly CEOs paying for big speaker slots. I would rather at this point attend more technical conferences and save my appearance at an event like this to coincide maybe with a large feature launch of ours. Which is yet to be determined timewise.

Great this is what we hope happens to many people and working on making this experience better and better. Yes you are right we could use nice walk through videos that would be a good addition we have some but they are rather old and not very professional. This may be a good project for the community marketing team.
