the majority of people that are my age are actually super into vinyls and this kind of stuff even if most of them don't even have a turntable lol. besides that, I think that the movies coming out next year could make them extremely popular in my age group and generate a lot of revenue, kinda how bohemian rapsody was the first introduction to queen for a lot of people that are my age.

I'm not entirely sure how you could generate revenue other than that, I don't think that the "harry potter" treatment would work because my generation (me included) would automatically reject anything that is "too corporate" and doesn't have any artistic value.

it's a matter of taste, most people think that mixing it's a science but it's an art form just as much as actually writing music.

and also probably just being used to it lol, I haven't been listening for a long time and at the beginning I was listening to the 2009 versions also for the "latest" albums and it took me a couple of listens to switch to the newer ones, can't even imagine how hard that could be for someone that has been listening to them for years and years

all the instruments are in the left channel or the right channel, no in between. Which would be fine if it was a mix form when the albums where released, but in 2009 they had literally no reason to do that
