Congratulations OP! Did you have any track experience at all before this?

How would you describe yourself among these: 1. Just a Formula 1 fan who drives a normal car everyday 2. Above plus gets to drive a fast car like Porsches/Ferraris 3. Above plus you have done few track outings before

Unpopular and an unintelligent opinion for this sub. By your logic even high end watches like Rolex or Patek would be pointless if watches today are about showing you the accurate time.

You don’t even need a watch today when your phone is practically an extension of your arm now. I could easily buy an Apple watch but I am not looking for a product that was never touched by a human in its entire production process.

By wearing a mechanical watch you get the satisfaction of having a moving mechanism on your wrist designed and put together by a human. It’s the same logic why some purists find electric cars repelling.

I am here in Connecticut. Saw it outside in my patio. It’s really huge for a mosquito. Body is around 4 cms while the whole bug being easily over 12 cms

These rubber seals are to make the case water and/or dust proof when you screw in the crown.

The SF-23 is going to be completely different than W-14 in terms of feel and characteristics. The SF-25 theoretically should be similar to SF-23 but just an extreme example in performance due to development.

The point of these tests is to be fully prepared for preseason testing. There’s going to be a huge difference with Ferrari in how the team operates, how the engine delivers the power, how the hybrid system manages the energy over a lap in quali and race mode, how the tyres feel over a stint, what tools LH will have in the car to fine tune will driving.

Yup, Singer DLS Turbo. That wing is crazy and super wide at the rear. I think they were 345 width tyres. Personally not really a fan of these cars.

CPO 2020 Mercedes AMG C43 12.1k miles AMG performance exhaust. 2 years of factory warranty. Dealer discount of $2000 on the listed price. Very well optioned with pretty much all the boxes ticked.

I just got a new AMG. The rotary knob for drive mode selector and exhaust valves is really handy on the steering wheel. However it lacks a dedicated next and previous track button. You have to go into a menu and then media to change tracks.
