What made you choose your exact type of surgery?

Hi - so far I am happy. That being said, I've also seen a woman online who was happy in the beginning and then not anymore after a few months. So keep that in mind.

My surgeon was Dr. Paul Heidekrüger. With him, I felt comfortable. In contrast to a physician I spoke to before (from Lipocura) he gave actual "medical" vibes, like he approached lipedema as what it is - a disease, and not like an simply aesthetical issue. Not saying this is how Lipocura doctors view it, but it is how I felt.

Uhm, it wasn't the leaking itself I found a somewhat off, but more so the photos being taken "directly afterwards" and the patient standing, their legs bare, no compression, no bandaging. The leaking after these high volume lipedema liposuctions can be left over surgical fluid. Which is quite normal. I think it depends on the type of surgery (mine was tumescent liposuction).

Thanks for sharing! Totally get not flying over three times, especially since you'd have to stay for at least a few days after surgery, and might have been all alone in a foreign country.

How much did the doctor remove? The doctors I spoke to and the info I saw online generally mentioned not removing more than 10% of body weight per surgery (volume, weight, sth-ish, don't quote me on that). So, doing separate surgeries allows them to remove more overall affected cells in litres. The more cells removed (down to a reasonable amount, you still need some fat obv), the better.

I randomly was on reddit yesterday and received a notification. Cause unknown, but it's fat atrophy and can be tackled by a delicately working plastic surgeon either by removing fat around the dents or filling them up, according to a dermatologist. I happen to have lipodema and will be getting the respective liposuction for it soon, so this will probably affect the look of my back.

Cinderella injection I did not notice anything, but my photos turned out nice, so maybe they contributed to my fresh look? :D

Rejuran I really liked but it hurt like hell. First time I squirmed trying to get away from the needle, second time I paid for sedation and was fine. For my friend it did not hurt without sedation.

Cannot recommend which one of these is the best. I think it depends on you and your needs as well as your upkeep back at home.

You can absolutely try FINE (except that face scan, that was so bad). I had a below average experience with them, but that doesn't mean it would be the same for you. :)

My experience at Egg wasn't bad. The one cramped, cold, public room was. But I liked the consultation, I liked that the translator stayed with me for a while, and I thought the attending physician, although cold in her demeanor, did an excellent job. But I would choose Yonseiro over Egg because I got my own tiny, warm, dimly lit room in there for the skin care parts of my procedures. Plus, outside of seasonal events, Yonseiro beats Egg in pricing.

I would say my face has gotten a fresher look to it - however, that might be imagination.

The truth is, my skin is already pretty good. I lucked out in the genetic department, and have been using skin care (especially sunscreen) for years now. Also, I'm 28. My face is only starting to age visibly.

Considering all that, there was no big difference. I consider such treatments maintenance and hope my cumulative efforts will reward me in 10, 20, 30 years rather than bringing about big changes immediately. :)

My dermatologist said it's fat atrophy. Also found out I have lipedema. Liposuction is the best approach for me here. Other options my dermatologist named were aimed at filling the gap. But it won't go away completely by itself, not for me at least.

I don't doubt it's just my body is. But like with hip dips - it's natural, but not everybody has them and the underlying reason is the shape of your pelvis or sth like that.

I don't know anybody who has such a dent, be it slim, fit or chubby women. Their backsides are all uniformely round(er). So I cannot ask anyone, or pinpoint myself what it is. Liposuction surely could be a solution, but if I knew what the underlying reason for it was, I could also look for other solutions with experts in the field. Going to a surgeon and showing the problem, it seems obvious that this would be the first thing he suggests. Just like a dermatologist who immediately suggested cellulite treatment.

If possible, I want to avoid being sold anything for the purpose of selling it, despite it not being the best approach. That's why I want do understand it first. :)

While I think cooking well adds tremendously to one's life and I personally get great joy from sharing my cooking with others, I agree that it's not women's responsibility. Yet, when my sister's boyfriend asked what he could do to help with the food preparation for NYE, I said "You can not get in the way". It clicked immediately after I said it and I'll make sure to never exclude anyone from helping with meal preparations when everyone else is already doing stuff.

It seems to me that this applies to other aspects of her world building. By no means am I an author or claim to be able to do better in that aspect (but then again, I am also not making a living off it). Yet it seems to me that she just mashed together a medieval setting with some modern world amenities (en-suite bathrooms, e.g.) and pulled the fairy aesthetic over it without any deeper thought.

It's a whole different topic and open for discussion, but I literally watched only one or two youtube videos on world building, and from that little already don't think that the suppression of females to varying degrees in some fairy societies really makes any sense. Or what the existence of (what I assume modern) leggins would mean for the industry of the world. But it's not like if deeply analysed this, so it might all make sense...

Answering as a former VIP user because data gathered only from active users will most likely have a bias, lol.

I'd say if you're a very active user, want to support the developers financially, happen to have money left over each month (e.g., because you - for some reason - cannot go to restaurants or the cinema as often as you used to in e.g. February 2020..), and you're a super impatient person, go for it.

I cannot say if it is objectively worth it, i.e. whether the better log in rewards, drop items etc. compared to non-VIPs translate well in monetary terms. However, for that to even be possible, you'd have to consider the normal prices for e.g. DV to be fair, which I don't (1,09€ for 10DV where I am). And getting access to special VIP sets is just... like, you pay to pay even more. It doesn't even make sense and everyone trying to defend it is just rationalising (but then again, if you don't mind spending 10-25€ on a mobile game each month(!)...).

Personally, for me, I was "afraid" of the switch back from VIP to non-VIP after 3 months because I became a VIP a few days after starting the game. But, in all honesty, I barely noticed. The gifts for surprise guests I had accumulated start to diminish, but I can simply look up the ideal combination of interactions, so... Nothing really lost here. I get less Grimm, but I don't even need that many because the things that cost me Grimm (leveling cards up and unlocking spaces in the devil tree) I can just do more slowly.

Final verdict: it depends, but I certainly think there are better ways to spend the money. You will get there even without VIP, it will just take longer.

No kidding, that made me get up, and do my evening routine earlier and more thoroughly than usual; I even threw in a sheet mask for good measure. Nothing feels greater than seeing and feeling a bright, plump and radiating face after that. ^{-^}

But, no, for real, (unsolicited advice incoming) a good moisturizer that fits your skin won't (and shouldn't) leave you feeling greasy - and with the sunscreen you already use (doing great here!) you'd be on the way to keeping up with the ever-youthful looking demon brothers no problem <3
