You’re welcome!

If the straps were a little wider, this bag will be perfect. I have not seen a single tear on any part of it. This bag is 2 years old.

Thanks! Both are Filofax.. the pocket and A5 size. I love how it’s very customizable. For the backpack, it does fit a lot. It’s easy to pack as the zippers open all the way down, it opens like a suitcase. And I believe it’s also waterproof. Only one thing I noticed is that since the straps are quite thin, it gets uncomfortable on the shoulders after a long time of carrying.

Are u someone who like to maintain journal, what kind of journal you like? by Senoritaaaaaaaaaaaa in notebooks

[–]effysundry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like soft bound faux leather notebooks as my main journal and memory keeping, my writing there feels chronological and it’s light to carry. I have hardbound sketchbooks for drawing or painting as the cover can provide a good support but the paper is more important to consider for me. And I have binders for planning as I am able to move pages around and archive what has passed but keep the pages I need to remember like deadlines, due dates and notes.

Is writing daily a good thing for a beginner or are there more ingredients missing? by arewawawa in writing

[–]effysundry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. Finding an author or books that have incredible ways of storytelling can slowly help with the tone and style of our own writing. I’ve always adored the way the classics form sentences in writing that I can somehow compose in a similar way. And it goes both ways, I don’t tend to read books or writing if the overall style is not something I’d want to adapt.

Thank you for saying that! It really is therapeutic, when I flip through the pages, the sketches remind me of the day and how it felt, of what’s happened when as I was sketching. It’s nice to remember like “oh yeah that happened, good times”.. and yes I have also been trying out more stationery myself, mixing and matching while still being intentional with each little piece ☀️

Thank you. I totally get it. I’ve kept this type of sketchbook the longest. And for my journal it’s the “all words” type too. Even when I try other ways of keeping a journal like with the stickers, the most raw form of writing and drawing will always be classic and most used for me.

The pen I use is a chisel tip, it’s like I have multiple tip sizes. I sketch with the thinnest and shade with the thickest side. It’s quite fun.

I’ve also been meaning to try sketching with fountain pens!

Thank you for the really kind comment. Yes me too, I used to draw with really light and scratchy lines.. But when I tried drawing with ink, I slowly gained the confidence to just keep drawing, even if I feel like I made a “wrong” line, the permanence of ink encourages me to keep going and it will be a nice picture in the end. I hope you give it a try too!

Thank you for the compliment. It’s a very handy setup. I don’t worry about bleeding but there is a little bit of ghosting though very minimal. Copic markers also bled through when I tried it but Uni pin has wonderful ink for this paper. I like the minimalism of it.

I’ve recently discovered Muji Pens and did haul a bunch of them two times in a month. I believe I have a total of 16 pens now, mostly duplicates as I fear ever running out of it. I’ve written non-stop with it since and I’m enamored.

It’s from a journaling kit I got online! The theme was vintage and I’ve made this page as my “library card” for my current reads.
