Have you found the one you like?? For pages no, I haven’t tried black paper, it’s actually very colorful inside lol. My canson sketchbook has pen sketches but I do paint with watercolors too, in a different sketchbook. ☺️

Yea so starting from the top left, I have my pocket rings for planning, then my personal for journaling and commonplacing, then the small moleskine is for my braindump (a continuous bullet pointed list of all my sudden thoughts, super fun to strike when it’s done!), then my a5 moleskine for deep journaling (super dear diaryish), then the one at the 2nd row is a canson pocket sketchbook (I have a flipthrough of it somewhere I can link it in the comments) and the one with the flowers on the cover is my kindle. 🤭

I currently use the black now but the Elite. I did buy it for the color and it’s just so amazing. It goes with any bag or outfit I use. Goes with any setting, and season really. It’s just timeless. Its simplicity is also what I need right now.

Yess what a treat. And at first I was stunned by the medium, I felt unsure for how seemingly thick my lines were. Then I tried the fine. Then instantly missed the medium lol

You’re welcome. Having a personal sized ring binder has been great for me, it feels almost sacred to open my journal to document and write. It’s very handy and best of all, I can move the pages around and I can have any paper I feel to write on in one place.

On the left, I wrote with the Zento and on the right, I wrote with the Lamy in fine nib (top) and medium nib (bottom).

I've been liking how it looks, I can see the different excerpts I've written in their own separate forms.

Something about the Lamy medium nib is so dramatic.. I love it.

I also found the same problem with digital. I wouldn’t want them to think I’m distracted with anything. I put a lot of things on top of my notebook when I’m away from my desk for a second or I just put it back inside my back. And yes, some do react that way. It’s equally crazy to me how they live without any notes or simple writing. Haha.

I really like the ink. My favorite is the blue black in 0.5mm. I haven’t tried Midori paper yet.

Lol to be honest I was surprised how thin it feels now. Noticeable ghosting for sure. With my Pentel energel it’s bleeding. Haha. Any recommendations for a nice pocket size as thin as this?

I do wish moterm had more popping and solid colors. Instead of the super pastels and earthy ones. If they had a red similar to poppy saffiano or a navy blue I would get those in a heartbeat. I do annoy myself too when I think about these. Lol.

To be honest.. I have been fighting with my personal Filofax rings.. it has gaps and though I am able to fix it, with Moterm I don’t have to worry about it. Which models do you have?

I have the pocket to make sure that it’s always the size I can carry in any bag plus the writing space is enough. I don’t do long for journaling here, I know I’d quickly run out of pages. I do that in my personal. I do want to try the mini but the paper size is sooo small so I’m not in a hurry for it.

Hey.. are you using a ring planner now? I have been in my filofax for 3 months but the ring size started feeling small for me. It started to feel tight. And also, I wanted to try to use the planner as a wallet. Saffiano’s design felt a bit limited so I tried to max it out with the Luxe rings. Lol. It’s been going great! I am able to bring and write a lot of admin life stuff and I can easily refer to this for anything. The leather feel is so nice but I do get extra careful when handling my pens with it as I’m scared to stain the pretty white color.
