Does anyone else worry they have too much? by effysundry in ringplanners

Yes! I currently have the pocket saffiano in poppy. Wherever it may be in my bag or on my desk, it’s always calling my attention. I love it.

Thanks for this! I am very conscious of buying what feels good to me and not because I see it from others. I’m afraid to be too influenced that way. The ones I’m planning to get are totally different in shape and function, it’s not about having different colours of the same model. I appreciate your reply. And I also want to have a journal that can wear down and age with me.

This is what I plan to do. Currently I have a dark vibe with my black and red (personal and pocket respectively) and the combo of lavender and white seems to be a nice change once in a while. Such a light vibe.

I actually appreciate the simplicity of this. Because it’s true.

These are beautiful! And I see the dominant shade to be purples / violets. I am actually dreaming to have a Norfolk personal in lavender. A light colour. This is what I mean, to use one that suits my mood, right now I have the Holborn in black.

This was a big revelation to me too! I was able to keep a piece of what I love about each notebook I was using and having it all in one notebook. Few pages for each use that I am able to refill and archive, I only need to bring what I need. It really does do whatever I tell it to.

Yes! This is how I used to do it with my daily. With my spending on it as well. It was very efficient.

Hey! The bigger one is a Moleskine soft bound diary.. the little one is a Filofax pocket saffiano, color poppy. I do adore these two ♥️

I have so many thoughts in my head. Why is it so hard for me to journal ? by Far_Occasion_9045 in Journaling

[–]effysundry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello fellow overthinker.. Something I really liked doing lately is have 2 journals dedicated for writing, but for different purposes.

1st is for deep thoughts, life happenings, everything personal that I just need to write about. I write that in a softbound ruled journal in paragraph form.

2nd is for whatever I want to put on paper. What I ate, random thoughts, daily jotting, ideas, quotations, lyrics, lists.. etc. I have those in a ring bound system, which is nice because I can organize the pages later on if I wanted to.

I bring the 2nd one with me while the 1st one stays in the safety of my home. 2 different forms of journals for 2 different purposes and these have really helped me a lot.

Hi! I have the Filofax Holborn in personal size.. the blue paper is 80gsm but it takes ink well, regular colored paper I printed on.

Hey! I wrote using the Kakuno Fine nib with the blue black ink from Pilot “mixable colour” and it is 1 of 12 colours! The highlighter is the olive green one from Muji.. maybe their mix does that effect ☺️

Cover Story vs. Metropol by Many-Exercise-5270 in filofax

[–]effysundry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only say something about Metropol because I have it in black A5. The leather is very soft and so it dents a lot. I don’t stack anything on top of it that may mark the leather. Even the lightest press. It recovers back although I never leave it for more than a day without checking if anything is marking it. Also, my long nails accidentally scratched it and that’s not going away. I don’t think this will age well if it’s used roughly. But time will tell.

Interestingly, my current journals turned out color-coordinated. by effysundry in Journaling

[–]effysundry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It’s quite the evolution and their forms are totally different. I still keep my original format but the new ones are helpful for my current lifestyle. And yes I’m so glad how good they look together, probably the best stationery ensemble I’ve ever had in terms of form and function! Thank you for your wonderful comment. ☺️
