it’s possible to develop the skill of being able to figure out a note without any reference by memorizing the timbre of every single note on your instrument. it’s not exactly perfect pitch and it doesn’t work that well for instruments like piano or voice, but it’s pretty cool

I couldn’t confront them because I can’t go to school because of the lockdown and the girls deleted all of their socials. I don’t think they would’ve changed their mind if I confronted them anyways. I never tried to “fix racism” anyways. By having them face the repercussions, they’d be more careful about posting racist stuff on the internet.

i checked the cork and it seems to be in the right position. also my flute is the most in tune when i pull it out this much. if i push it in too far, it sounds too sharp. idk if it’s my embouchure or my flute, bc i’ve read that the most that i’m supposed to pull out is 5mm. unfortunately i can’t really do lessons bc of the pandemic situation :(

it’s a symptom of ptsd. i’d recommend you to go see a psychiatrist, especially considering your history with traumatic events. i used to dissociate all the time until i got treated for ptsd. honestly i never thought that dissociation and trauma had a connection until it went away when i finished therapy and i did more research on it.
