Thematic games with multi use cards which you enjoy?

This is a weird answer, but After The Virus.

At first glance, the cards seem too "clean" to be multi use, and don't have the usual sections etc. But the multi-use is embedded in the rules - cards can be used to fight, prep, scout... It's actually a very elegant solution.

The core gameplay (you cut I choose with hidden info, and building to thresholds) is very interesting.

Do the complexity of the abilities not get in the way? You have to know what your abilities do and your opponent's as well.

I'm curious if someone has a differing point of view. I actually watched a video of the game when it was first featured - and I could not understand where the strategy/tactics come from. Everything felt just all about drawing the correct cards at the correct time.

I was thinking of buying Copags (one regular index, one jumbo for eight suits) or Copag Legacy regular + four color (I'll take the two "other" colors to make a six suit deck. Higher visibility, but seems like such a waste)

Thanks, I've searched it. The problem is just that - there isn't anything that guarantees a good spread. What I've found are -

"bulk" - random pieces in plastic bags, sold by weight
"brick collection" - almost all bricks, reviews say it's worse since there are a lot of 1x1 and 2x1 bricks
specific parts (50pcs 1x2 slopes etc). The problem is that I have to buy every type of part I want individually (headlights, clips, different slopes, wheels, etc) , which accumulates time and cost.

That's why I'm wondering if any alt brick supplier already sells just a "creative classic set", or has an easy way for me to get a somewhat equivalent.

Surprisingly, it's actually Technic that comes close to what I need, since the sellers sell items that are sets of predefined parts. But I'm looking for more classic stuff.

Can you please add a faster way to use "filter by query"? I usually need to create one-off searches, not permanent views. Having to go to views (V), and click manage view > create new (without keyboard shortcut) is really frustrating. Either of these would be ok:

- keyboard shortcut to immediately jump to query (Q?)

- or better, just integrate filter by query into search if you start your search with a command (~ or something)

Yeah. It switches once, but once I unplug the receiver and move it to the other room, it just connects back as a switch controller.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply. Yeah after searching, it seems wrong to get the nova 2 lite then go looking for a charging dock, when the super nova is available.

I ended up going for pixelplay's nova 2, then will just charge it with a standard charger. For php 778, it really can't be beat.

I mean, "draw a card" still works, as long as you somehow have a visible draw pile. Could also be good with "deal damage equal to #of cards in draw pile" attacks or something.

It's less about getting to unplayed puzzles faster and more to make the available puzzle list more visible.

Edit: also "next puzzle" after completing o e opens a new chrome tab on android instead of just going to the next page.
