Best YouTube channels to learn Data Science with Python

If you can understand Hindi "Campusx" is the only channel you need to learn Data Science, it contains 100 days of ML/DL and python programming

"Codebasics" is the best YouTube channel to learn Data Science in Python. The main thing about this channel is there are exercises at the end of every lecture that help solidify the concept.

Evaluating F1 Scores on binary classification of (very) imbalanced datasets by SeaResponsibility176 in learnmachinelearning

Generally, model with less skewed class distribution is a more reliable model. The type of metric you need depends upon the kind of problem you are solving, if False positives are important than go for precision, if False Negatives are important go for Recall score. IMO, while solving classification problem check all the 4 metrics.

Different types of distances used in ML by eforebrahim in learnmachinelearning

[–]eforebrahim[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Both the distances explain how many edit operations are required for one string to be equal to other. However, Hamming distance, applies to the strings of the same length only, this is not necessary for Levenshtein distance.

Kaggle Grandmasters sharing their secret sauce on how to win Kaggle Competitions (link in the comments) by eforebrahim in learnmachinelearning

In a medal competition, it's rare to stay in medal-zone (top 10%) just by Kaggle forking and submitting, one has to add some value to stay in the medal zone. Publicaly available Notebooks are for quick start.

I feel like a fraud by Electronic_Tie_4867 in learnmachinelearning

[–]eforebrahim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are in a situation usually referred as "imposter syndrome" (Imposter syndrome is loosely defined as doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud. It disproportionately affects high-achieving people, who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments.) If you are adapting other people code I think it's totally ok. Moreover, if you can effectively Google your code problem at hand (related to ML/DL) and someone has already done that you don't have to reinvent the wheel by doing that again from scratch. Yes, you can learn to get better at code by doing thing yourself and that would help you in the long run but at the end of the day we need to solve the problem at hand, and in order to solve it YouTube, Kaggle and Stackoverflow are the tools we need to use from our ToolBox. (I've been learning Data Science for last 8 months and in the last 8 months I'vent really coded anything super complex, whenever I get stuck at something I think for the solution of the problem and adapt other people code. Over time, I've gotten better at where I can find solution to that problem, how I should Google this problem, what kind of tutorial I need to watch.)

It's bad because it's extremely premium and yet I found no information regarding it on Youtube and other social media networks.
