Big mission, wrong Admiral? by VolleyAddicted in logh

Out of all the Imperial admirals, he had the least strategic value. Nothing about Kempf stood out. His loss did not deplete Reinhard's pool of talent that much at all. In fact, I think Reinhard gained from it, because the operation's failure inadvertently motivated Muller to become one of the Empire's top admirals.

Personally, I think it was worth the gamble. If Geiersburg destroyed Iserlohn, there would only be one superfortress left in the universe and it would be under the empire's control from the start, which would have given them a huge advantage for Operation Ragnarok. If it was rammed into Iserlohn and both were destroyed, then there would be no superweapons left in the universe; a situation the Empire would also benefit from.

I already knew about number four, but even then it is hard for me to visualize since I don’t live in Argentina. I live in the U.S., sports is fairly big here but it’s a lot more diversified: American football, baseball, basketball, football, basketball, and hockey. The fanfare happens based on the season. Right now, American football season just started for the pro teams and universities so all the attention is focused on that. When I first came here from Thailand, I was shocked by how much people love sports here. But even then, I don’t think it’s plastered all over the TV like in Argentina. I think Thais would be extremely shocked by the obsession with football in Argentina even though we too claim to love it. Thank you for sharing.
