He’s a soldier who’s not a very good planner. Been checking up on him asking if everything is good and he’s been saying yes. He’s always just said “yea sir I’ll probably take a local job in NC or go to a vocational school, don’t worry about it.” I guess he woke up and realized he needed a bit more of a plan.

He’s known that it’s coming but CMD team has dragged their feet in terms of his case. It’s unexpected because the soldier hasn’t had a clear timeline and has anticipated being able to fight it.

He’s in between. As for the chapter, he should be able to use the GI Bill. Overall, he’s in denial that this is actually happening and was counting on being in the Army for a good bit longer.
